Yunnan is the most famous tea-producing region in China. It is located in the southern part of the country. It is there that you can find the oldest Chinese tea tree, 1700 years old. This tree has been the main source of Yunnan tea for the past eight centuries. It continues to grow on the Nannou Mountain in Mengha County.
